The Certified Corporate Longevity Specialist™ program is issued by the Corporate Health & Wellness Association in partnership with Healthcare Revolution.

Why the program exists

For more than a decade, employers were told that step challenges, screenings and healthy-eating campaigns would make their people healthier and lower their costs. When that promise was finally tested in rigorous randomized trials, it did not hold up. Wellness measured activity instead of biology, treated everyone the same, and rarely measured real change.

Longevity science gives the field the instruments it never had: a data layer that shows what is actually happening in the body, and a disciplined way to separate what is proven from what is hype. The Certified Corporate Longevity Specialist™ program was created to prepare the people who own employee health, in benefits, HR, total rewards and wellness, to bring that thinking into their company and defend it in front of executives and finance.

The Corporate Health & Wellness Association (CHWA) is a national non-profit association focused on health, wellness, and disease prevention for employers, employees and their families. For more than fifteen years it has led the corporate wellness field: organizing the industry's conferences, publishing Corporate Wellness Magazine, and certifying thousands of employers, benefits professionals and wellness champions through the CCWS credential.
